Eagle is a mix of old and new underground. Newer subdivisions and the areas around downtown are served by municipal sewer, while many established acreage properties along the Boise River and Dry Creek still run on private septic systems. Digging Smart in Eagle Ground
Sewer excavation in Eagle rewards preparation. Near the river corridor and Eagle Island, high groundwater can flood an open trench, so depth, shoring and dewatering have to be planned before the bucket hits the dirt. On foothills lots north of town, slope and rocky ground change how a lateral is routed and how much machine time the dig really takes. And on the large landscaped lots that define much of Eagle, the shortest path from house to main is not always the right one; we route around mature trees, irrigation systems and hardscape whenever practical.
We coordinate locates and permits with the appropriate sewer and highway authorities, keep you informed about what we find underground, and compact backfill properly so the lawn or driveway above the trench does not settle into a dip the following spring.
