Why Meridian Yards Hold Water
Drainage problems in Meridian rarely come from slope, because there barely is any. The city sits on flat valley floor, which means rain, snowmelt and sprinkler runoff do not naturally flow anywhere. Add silty loam soils that absorb slowly and hold moisture for days, and a low spot in a lawn can stay wet for most of the season.
